Mayfair Residence, London

For this duplex apartment in Mayfair, Intarya’s brief was to completely
re-work the interior layout in order to make the best use of space. A full architectural and interior scheme was created, clearly defining the entertaining and private areas through improved space planning and the use of different materials and textures.

An opulent, old-world aesthetic was favoured by the client, and it was achieved through the use of crystal chandeliers, gilded elements in the furniture, classical architectural details and exquisite bespoke wall finishes.

We also redesigned the bathrooms and kitchen and used specialist cabinet makers and finishers to achieve the lavish, grand style the client was looking for.

In the Master Bedroom, a restful yet sophisticated space, we used the same silk damask to upholster the walls and headboard, as well as on the curtains and bed drapes. This gave the room a sense of space and lightness, while still feeling cosy and comfortable. Bespoke embroidered cushions and bedspread add to the sense of luxury.

The library, with its strong gold and burgundy scheme, has embroidered pelmets and cushions. It exudes grandeur while still being comfortable and practical.
